My skid, has dropped his DSi XL and now one of the shoulder button sticks.

Last time i pulled apart a Gameboy, it didn't end well, and i kicked myself for not selling on fleabay as is.. Instead, i paid for parts, and completely messed up the existing unit.

I'm fairly competent at taking things apart, but sometimes its a lot more fiddly than the internet says.

Has anyone pulled one apart? was it cake ?

Taking apart is the easy but tbh :D

Had several DS Lites apart for top/bottom screens and my PSP 1000 was almost always in some stage of disassembly/reassembly. As long as you are careful and methodical, changing parts etc. should be fairly simple

I've done it, Ive fixed a 3DS XL that has a faulty touchscreen. It can be mega fiddly with all the tiny ribbons but it's not exactly difficult. A gameboy is definitely easier, however.

Well i'm glad to report that i fixed it without ripping any ribbons this time round.

Back to its former glory ! yay
