I know MM is the best place but unfortunately I do not have 1K posts. I'm wondering if anybody had some experience in using websites to sell their PC?

I've never used ebay before and my understanding is that it could be a headache as buyers can request a return even though you did not offer it, is this still the case/am I getting this right?

Cheers :)

Ebay is fine, thousands of transactions every day, just state your return policy in the description, I usually say 1 week RP.

i would strip it and sell through ebay or forums.

edit: also, whenever i sell parts, specially on ebay.. i always note the serials, take photos and even video to show it in full working condition just to cover myself.

Advertised my old one here for £200 - no interest. It was a Q6600 based system.

Put it for £220 on Gumtree - sold for asking price after 10 days

I have a full tower for sale and i am in the same boat. Postage will cost like £50 or more :(

Demcfiltered case, 4.7GHZ Ivy with 2400 ram. SSD and that Corsair gold 850w that you cannot get anymore sadly. It even has a 770 2GB inside and some of it has only been used for a month or so. But the person died and well i already have a full PC in my sig i built a few months ago.

I dont want to tear it down due to the overclock. But the country locals wouldnt know a megahertz from a gigahertz :)
