oh, i had to do away with BitFenix Alchemy cables as they were poor quality and failed to mount.

one question, i've closed the fill port now as i think ive got all the air out of the system. however on occassion i can hear a trickle of water. is than normal or does than mean that there is still air trapped inside?

thanks.

There can be, you should run the loop and then rock the system side by side to release the air trapped in your blocks.

Also, do you know the life of Aurora is only 6 months?

Cheers, ill try that...

yep, but it was too tempting to try out. as my first system i want to try draining, cleaning and refill before moving on to a more lavish build so i wont be keeping this fluid in that long ;)

When I find a good mid tower case then ill initiate project watercool v2.0.

Are you going to stick with the premium metal build quality like the Lian-Li's?

If so, maybe look at Corsair Obsidian, they looks pretty nice :)

Or maybe Factal design and Caselabs if you are looking at market from outside EU :)

When I first thought about water cooling I looked at all the premium cases with a mindset to only upgrade if i could find a MID TOWER case that could comfortably fit a 360 and 240 rad with room for 3 HDD and an ODD without me having to do any mods.....nothing looked the part.

Saying that, the Corsair Obsidian is good, Factal Arc came close, Caselabs... maybe...

Lian Li so far has not come up with a good solution for water cooling imo. Hopefully that will change come Computex 2014 in June so that I can throw some money at them!!
