To be honest, I've no idea what the job position is, seem to remember applying for an Apple retail position last summer so must have had my CV on record or something...
Found this on google: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212097-apple-store-group-interviewseminar-information/. Would have no chance of getting through that if it's a group interview scenario, complete opposite of the 'bubbly/outgoing' character they'd be looking for![]()
Anyway after that the doors opened and the apple staff surrounded the enterance and started whooping and clapping while VERY loud happy music was played. (I was creeped out)
You don't have to bubbly/outgoing, you just have to make some good points/share some good ideas. But most importantly, do not say anything stupid or idiotic etc.
The problem is with Apple, Apple Cultists who are over qualified go for these sort of positions and they attract a better calibre of candidate than similar industries and as such there is always going to be plenty of candidates for few positions.
...and I thought panel interviews were creepy.
Ok, cheers for the info. Out of interest, it mentions 'smart casual' dress code, did people actually turn up in casual/formal wear?
Yeah, sounds a bit cringe...
If you don't have a PhD at a minimum you won't get a job as an Apple Genius.
I went in a smart shirt with smart jeans and shoes. I was the most formally dressed there.

You need to turn up wearing a cool beanie and a totally rad shirt man, then you sit on a beanbag and talk about how mainstream all the music is getting, then hackey sack for a bit.
