Scammer still gets away with the money though, I expect.

Steam needs to keep a handle on quality control, otherwise the early access scheme will just be another Fleabay like environment where scammers prosper and purchases are made under the banner of "buyer beware".

Mind you, people have been buying tripe in the form of CoD games for years. Hopefully if there is a crack down it will see the removal of the other lamentable titles too!

According to Steam you can get a refund up until May 19th.

Same. Also, it's the same story with pre-ordering 'finished' games these days. Wait for the proper user reviews.

I have read that this is not always the case, even is Steam say it is.

But I do hope people can get their money back.
