Just to clarify, story elements are fine just not to the style of say the walking dead where its the primary focus i guess?

May try a few for myself too!

In terms of story, murder mystery ones etc are churned out on ios but we enjoy playing those togeather

What she wants is first person point and click games. Google Shannara or Death Gate and you'll see the type she wants

Thats the style i think, maybe a tad dated for our tastes but no doubt classics, may check those out for myself

This is a thread about point and click games, and Monkey Island is a point and click game. Surely a man beholden to the retro covenants appreciates the finery of such semantics?

There's one whose name escapes me but you play a detective and I think there is werewolf in the title, or "something moon"....I'll see if I can find it on my PC when I get home.

Its a basic story, short, but it basically involves finding things in a rim to get clues.

This is one i will enjoy as its by the walking dead people but i dont think its her sort of thing! Thanks though, it does count!

+1 for this. Also the sequel, "The Critter Chronicles". Pretty funny games, too.

How about the Tex Murphy games also from GOG? Could get her Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, Overseer, and then the brand new Tesla Effect.


EDIT: You could also check out the Big Fish Games website. They pump out a seemingly endless array of static-screen based Hidden Object adventures. Each generally has a half decent storyline populated by various hidden object scenes and logic puzzles.

EDIT 2: If she doesn't mind getting the frights on, there's also Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder, and Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage. Not to mention Dark Fall, Dark Fall 2: Lights Out, and Dark Fall: Lost Souls.

Argh, there are SO MANY! LOL.
