read the article, it's a new community test environment for premium members.

edit - also whenever DICE do something like this it is a PR stunt made to look like they are listening to the community, when they've ignored them for years. So this must mean that they are getting ready for E3 in an attempt to calm the ****storm with Battlefront and (speculated BF5)

Yeah the "hitreg" in BF4 is abysmal and on some servers just dire.

So true, the game is farcical IMO.

I mis-interpreted your post

Definitely too little too late. DICE/EA do this all the time when another game is going to be released. If anyone believes this will fix the game then more the fool them.

Watch all the BF3/BF4 pre-release videos and see how many promises they later broke when the game was released and then later admitted their mistake in an attempt to redeem some consumer faith and pre-orders for their next game.

But then shove another Jackfrags video in people's faces and they will be drooling over the next BF installment.

You can't customize tick rate in battlefield servers.
