As long as Labour don't win and liberals are put back in their place I will be happy. I am not expecting a UKIP majority. We have 2 local UKIP people elected last year.

The EU has a higher proportion of white people than the UK so no, seeking to limit immigration from the EU is not racist or if it is, then it discriminates against white people.
 
Locals, won't bother as it's such a safe tory seat, you could pin a blue rosette on a dead dog lying in the gutter, & it would still get voted for.

EU, UKIP, why?, because i hold UKIP in utter contempt, and i also hold the EU in utter contempt, there fore they deserve each other.

My GF is an immigrant, I'm very much not a racist.
I don't really agree with UKIPS immigration policy, I just really hate the un-needed governance that the EU enforces, the way the attack their detractors, and the way the are slowly forcing a superstate.
Plus, UKIP are the only party to espouse libertarian economic principles
 
Sigh, all these posts calling UKIP voters racists almost makes me want to give the party my vote in protest, but I know deep down that would spell economic ruin so I will refrain. Cameron and Osborne doing a cracking job with the country, however.
 
I love these forums but why so many right wingers. Maybe high end computers cost a lot of money and with mony comes a lack of empathy for those worse off.

Also being right or left wing is so much simpler than finding the correct middle ground. I feel sorry for you all.

I'm abstaining. Why? Because the FPTP voting system is a load of BS. The Cons always win in my area, so it's absolutely pointless in bothering to turn up. If it was proportional, I would although I'd probably vote for Greens or something.

I'm pretty disillusioned with politics these days.

lefties have an innate need to shout down the opposition. It's in their blood I think but then again I think back to the march against the war and then i think about the countryside alliance march.



I personally feel that the righties out weigh the lefties on this forum.


ps 50% of votes are tory or ukip would suggest that it's not mostly lefties
 
Now imagine if the Tories had the balls to just say they will come out if we vote yes and we believed them, they would have over 50% of the vote!!

Just worth a thought.
