Tbf, those reasons alone don't inherently discount you from being a possible racist.

In my case it certainly does, a real racist would consider themselves pure and wouldn't mix with other races and have immigrant girlfriends/wives and later in my life there's a very high possibility I will have mixed race childern

I don't know. I find myself agreeing with some policies and not others for each party. I might vote for the Pirate Party if they run in my area simply because I feel like I'm part of the demographic that should be standing up for things like freedom to share information over the internet, net neutrality and so on because I know most people don't really understand the potential ramifications of those things. I guess I don't really care if my neighbours are Romanian. I know I'm not well informed enough to know if a particular economic policy will work well. It feels, ideologically speaking, somewhat cheap to just vote for whichever party promises to deliver the most value from tax money to my demographic.

I just did the who should I side with test again and it's come up again as lib dems (58%) and conservative (52%) and labour (47%).. Seems that I'm happy with the coalition!

Not voting this time round, or I might go just to tease the guys who ask who you're voting for.

I've lost faith in party politics at the moment, so it hard to get excited about a euro.

I hope UKIP crash and burn, though the poll here suggests I'm in a minority.

:)

I was surprised that I agreed with any of the parties on so much when I took the test. When you hear the politicians speak, they all seem so ridiculous.

Watching question time right now. Apparently the Tories are offering an in/out referendum... an in/out referendum... the only party to offer an in/out referendum. Just in case you didn't know, they're offering an in/out referendum.

Ukip for the euro election because I want which ever party that runs the country to have a more robust policy on the quantity and quality of immigrants and as a common working class schmuck it's my opinion that parties only give a flying fig about anything if they're losing votes because of it

I'll be spoiling my ballot for the general election because I don't feel represented by any party in particular as they're all run by posh prats who haven't done an honest days work in their lives and I don't trust anyone that says they want to be in politics to be trustworthy.

Nonsense.

For example, a person who favours Asians but dislikes black people would be as much of a 'real racist' as a person who can't abide anyone who isn't white.

Yeah thats right, I voted UKIP to protect British democracy because I thought that would be hilarious:confused:

Well looking at my dating history then i'm in the clear :p I think the only race I haven't, well you know, is Inuit Eskimo

Didn't realise the yardstick for not being a racist boils down to which race of women males choose to or not to bang :o Heck even KKK members occasionally strayed into the dark side.

Aren't you the guy who also doesn't like Thai women and made some pretty inappropriate comments about them?

What does Spoil ballot mean.

Go to the polling station, walk up to the ballot box, drop your trousers, crap through the slit in the top.

Wipe your bum with the voting slip you've been given, post that as well, get up, pull up your trousers, and walk straight out the door.

I genuinely can't believe that UKIP are winning this poll. UKIP are basically the Daily Mail party... yet that newspaper is relentlessly mocked on here! Bizarre.

Arguably, UKIP's position on immigration is less racist (if by 'racist' we stick with the more original version of discrimination by skin pigmentation rather than the modern day interpretation which seems to be defined as saying/tghhinking anything negative about someone from a different village than you).

Currently, EU laws say Europeans (who are mostly white) can move between any other country within it without restriction, whilst allowing governments to impose any regulations on those from outside Europe (who are mostly non-whites) they wish including total exclusion if they so wished.

UKIP's stated position is that immigration should be based on skills whereas the EU position on immigration is that Europeans get favorable treatment.

So what is more racist, the policy based on meritocracy or the policy based on place of birth?

Thing is, most people have an issue with Europe. I would never want a UKIP government. The return of corporal (and probably capital) punishment, smoking in pubs, banning gay marriage etc but they are the only party who would take us out of this failed Super State.

I don;t believe for one second if the Tories got back in they'd give the referendum they promised, to many 'business leaders' on the payroll taking advantage from the cheap labour.

I don't see how it's failed. So much consumer protection, so much health and safety, so much financial services regulation, so much public procurement regulation... just an endless endless list of wins for people and they don't even know about it. It's just brutally sad.
