MSI RMA status story on GTX 780 Ti

In this kind of case what is the policy that OCUK operates?

So if a GPU goes bump in the first 6 months what is OCUKs policy, for the customer to be in limbo and at the hands of the supplier or would you guys send out a new GPU once identifying the returned one is faulty?

Only reason I ask is that this isnt the first time I have seen this kind of question raised.

Being honest, this put me off buying my last GPU from you guys and I went elsewhere :(

Would be good to know for the future though :)

OcUK need to adopt Amazons approach on RMA... straight swap replacement, if not stocked anymore - credit in full.

Quick and simple as that, regardless if it's MSI, Gigabyte, or Asus, any product for that matter for the full duration of the warranty.

Thats why I never shop with OcUK.

Not read the entire thread but I saw something about OcUK not offering an exchange policy. I would like to add I brought a B-grade card from them last year at the shop, not online, that was faulty and yes, I did take it back to be told no exchange policy but what they did tell me was that I could have a refund no problem and have another. Whether it's changed since then I may find out later this week. I only had return problems before OcUK changed ownership.

I find it strange that you are a regular on their forums yet you don't shop with them personally. You qualify for free postage being a 'loyal forum member' yet never take advantage of it?

I sent my 7870 XT back to OCUK on an RMA and, even though I'd had it for a few months, they agreed that should it be faulty (it was) then they would allow a full refund, which they did. At that point I ordered a GTX 770.

And even if things do get complicated, Bailey or 5UB normally put most other companies to shame with their customer service skills alone, so I wouldn't be too hasty to go elsewhere.
