CTE felt pretty good, tickrate has been increased

It's better but still not perfect. I've had a few instances where I've vaulted only to be catapulted

For anyone running the game in SLI do you get choppyness?

I'm not describing lag, rubberbanding or stutter associated with network related issues but probably more driver, config or possibly hardware related where the game has a habit of skipping a couple of frames causing stuttering/choppy character movement (frame rates do not go down).

Its just crap they put in to try and sell the DLC.

Nothing to do with being codified IMO, just them bowing to the lowest common denominator to try and sell DLC.
