Thread hijack apologies and all, but can someone recommend somewhere that offers replacement (non-mac) batteries that won't set it on fire when on charge
(if possible)
Just pointing out the obvious - these things always look like a good deal because of the tax avoidance. Once you add the local sales tax and import tax, it's probably better to just get a UK one with a proper warranty, keyboard, and accessories. Depends on your moral character really.
Is there a tax relief scheme for visitors operating in the US? When I came back from Australia with a couple of iPad Mini's I got the GST refunded at the airport on departure. Just had to show receipt and items.
