CTE a potential fix for BF4?

Or

A beta for the BF5 beta?

I know what my money is on, after 8 months this is geared towards the future BF title.
 
Haven't been on BF4 for the last few weeks, as I just couldn't be arsed with the game in its current state, (it had become a laggy mess for me in most the games I was joining).
I'll be back for the next expansion though to see what else they mess up lol.

Have been chilling out occsionally playing some ESO recently instead.
 
tbh they'd be fools to try and push BF5 out but they probably will.

Go back to basics with BF4 and get it right and there is a ton of money to be made in the long run with it all the potential is there its just not being utilised properly or held back by broken coding.
 
its not in their interest now to throw money at BF4, everything now will be focused on the next one, it's the companies roll man, nothing new. Once they got your money, they dont care.
 
I'd wager that they're only doing it to try and show that they're trying to fix things in time for the release of their next game, they've done sod all since release and only when it gets close to a different release, they do something to show they're trying to fix things.

It's in their interest if it goes on to hurt BF5 / Star Wars Battlefront pre-orders. They will be wanting to do everything in their power to show that they care about gamers in the run up to a reveal at E3 in June.

If they do get some fixes into BF4, there is no guaranty that they will carry over into any new game.

Their intentions aren't perfectly clear whether it will be deployed to the current build.

But I'm willing to wager that Patrich Bach will use the CTE as an excuse to say at E3:

"We learned from our mistakes"
"The CTE was a success and we implemented the changes into Battlefront or any other Frostbite game"
"We have better tools to implement changes and bug fixes faster"
"Our infrastructure has been upgraded"
"Levolution 2.0 is EPIC"
 
Hi Guys, bit of a big thread. I have BF4 with CHina Rising.

Naval Strike and Armored Kill are out. I'm leaning towards Naval Strike.

Anyone know the best place to get the keys for Naval strike or if there's a good deal for both of that above?
 
they need to do this to try and ease the pain from disgruntled customers and to shovel the next mess down your throat very shortly.

e3 (june) will probably show you the next installment for bf due for launch in oct.

look at how long its took them to try to get bf4 steady and to play as it should on launch 8 months ? so in the remaining few months they doing to fix it totally :p impossible :D


so come September you'll have a new beta for next bf game probably almost a certainty on brokebite engine which they have totally revamped from the ground up :p (always lies)

rinse and repeat same thing.

bf5 big explosions looks decent doesn't work :p

awaits next thread full of exact same issues they haven't learned from.

dont be fooled by them making it look like they are trying something different to improve BF4 just in time for E3 and the next bunch of demos...I can hear it now " look, we are taking care of our customers, we shall not make the same mistakes in BF5 that we did in BF4, you can pre-order BF5 now for £60" blah blah. Are you telling me you'll honestly be able to notice a different tick rate in the game now without tinted goggles or placebo?? Come on man, this is just to get a feel of what they can run for Battlefront/BF5 and make it look like they care about its devoted gamers.

The Deag and Unica look pretty sweet.

But an EOD bot mounted with a MG AND a GL? Who comes up with this kinda ****, and then thinks it's a good idea to actually implement it into the game?! I wonder if they've ever played an FPS before.
