double speed 4g with ee any good or just marketing BS?

It is better.
I had a phone call from EE and for £1 a month I upgraded to an unlimited everything and onto the 4G network.
It's quick (when I have 4G) and I get better signal in general. My house struggled(s) when I was on 3G but since going to 4G I have no issues.

Unlimited data on EE 4G? Do tell me more...

In terms of double speed... I'm in Central London and get cracking speeds. Often 50 u/d but I need to be by the window. I get 20GB on EE but rarely push over 1GB a month.

Apologies, unlimited calls and texts and I think it was 4GB of data. Which for me is monumental as I only use 250mb (work has wifi and so does home so no need for data)

I was on a £36 a month contract (panther I think) and I got a call form EE as my phone was 4G compatible but I wasn't on 4G.

I'd guess just give 150 a call and ask them what offers they can do you!

There is, they've doubled the speed. I'm on the £51/month contract so automatically got the upgrade and have noticed better speeds, but only in exceptional circumstances. Indoors it's the same unless right beside a window (iPhone5).

£51 with no unlimited data...

I do hope the highest end of phone was included on that deal :/

In our house we've got regular EE 4G on an iPhone 5, and Double Speed EE 4G on a HTC One M8. Haven't noticed any different in normal day-to-day usage, but haven't been doing loads of speedtests trying to benchmark it.
