Random thread is random.

Has anyone got any good quotes about customer service?

What I'm trying to say is:

Any individual or organisation makes mistakes. We're only human after all. But it's how you deal with mistakes that matters. If you admit fault, apologise, and learn lessons, then people are generally pretty chilled and don't mind. But if you fob people off, cover up, and pretend mistakes never happened, then that's what ****s people off and lands you with either a lawsuit or no future customers.

Does anyone know a more eloquent way of saying it? Or any famous quotes about it?

“A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.” -John C. Maxwell

It is the highest form of self-respect to admit our errors and mistakes and make amends for them. To make a mistake is only an error in judgment, but to adhere to it when it is discovered shows infirmity of character.
-Dale Turner

"I'm selfish, impatient, and insecure. I make mistakes. I am out of control and at times, hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you don’t deserve me at my best" - Abraham Lincoln

"The customer is always right. Except when he's very much mistaken". One of my old managers when I worked for the purple shirts in the 90s.
