Ha...I agree, I get the feeling that Wingman is being pushed out of the picture.

With Alex Mayberry from Blizzard joining as the lead developer.....wasnt Eric VP of developent and marketing?

Didnt look to happy when giving his WMH is finishing speech.

I may be totally wrong....was just the impression I got from that Episode.....interviewing the new guy and saying bye to Wingman.
 
For an actress she's completely unnatural and looks well out of place. For a model she's not particularly good looking.

Yesterday her rambling on about loving Doom, i bet she had to google it once off camera. Can't be doing with her or Eric.

Hopefully the new show will focus more on development than what we get now.

I've said it to people in the past but whenever there has been a live stream, CR always looks ****ed off with Eric as he comes across as a bit of a clown.
 
How have they still not released the module yet?

Are none of you angry about this, or have you just accepted that this is farce but because they release a nice video that shows them discussing pointless additions without actually showing anything, its all ok?

Absolutely insane.

Well they never promised anything, so why be mad?

They have in the past given us dates they were hopeful for, but never said it was set in stone

Noooo, she is awful, so stilted and unnatural. Id rather have that guy everyone rails against who quite frankly has just been subject to the official forum ranters. SC constantly trying to appease the mob ("No we wont be fronting him but hes a good guy, honest") is lunacy as they never will. Next thing you know they'll be listening to them about flight models and how joysticks should be crippled because i keep getting killed. Offical forums are cess pits. Well that went off topic.

Back on topic, no more Sandi please she comes across totally fake on every level.

Sandi isn't fake, however she has no screen presence to speak of, which is partly because she is VP of Marketting, and comes from a business background, not a social media or production background.

Eric on the other hand is the President of Development, Producer & Designer, so I am guessing that as things ramp up in the production schedule, he has less time available for frivolous things
 
As long as they dont allow that big brother git to host any show i'll be happy. He's the biggest fake there and a complete waste of human flesh. Cant stand the guy.

Before Star Citizen, I was working full-time modeling and acting. My other jobs in marketing have been in Fashion and Entertainment.

Wasnt keen on Sandi at first either, like she was a token attractive female presenter, but then you hear about the fact that she pretty important to certain aspects of the game, not the development, but the operational side of things, maybe a bit patronising to call her an assistant, but she seems to organise the majority of the non-gaming orientated stuff, the expo's and meetings.
What i think lets her down is that she doesnt feel genuine, whether thats because she's good looking and we expect fellow geeks to look like they should be cave dwelling monsters with thick-rimmed glasses and pocket protectors, i just think its hard to take her seriously as a gaming geek, and 'Woooo Doom' really doesnt help either, it just feels fake and try-hard.

But at least when she's doing TNGS she seems to know her role, she'll summerise what the others say rather than try and join in like we'd value her opinion on things in amongst the others.
She wasnt hired to be a presenter, nor does having an acting background make you a good presenter, chances are she's taken that role because she's capable of doing it, and its better than them hiring someone, after all you'd want a good presenter, with gaming knowledge, knows the ins & outs of CIG day-to-day and people happen to like, cos clearly nobody here is unreasonably opinionated of their expectation of whats acceptable to present a web show for a gaming community FFS :rolleyes:
Is she perfect for it? no. Are we likely to find someone better suited? probably not. If the perfect presenter was out there and hired, would the community be happy? never.


What i do find very strange is that a week or 2 ago on WMH they showed them building the new WMH set, and now they're cancelling that show and moving the community show to LA, so what exactly happened where they built a new set then 5wks after they move there, they relocate the whole thing elsewhere. I can understand if Eric's role in SC means he's more important being focused on the development, but he's become a popular figure in the community and surely it doesnt occupy too much of his time, it cant be any different to CR doing 10FTC.
