Show us your kitty cats

Just a note to say it doesn't do ticks. Having had frontline fail to clear fleas before, and now where we are we have had a few ticks on our littlest one, we are using effipro.

Our vet advised against using things like frontline and advocate. They said flea species have become more resistent to it due to its wide spread use. Not sure on their sources for that, but the vet knows more about stuff like that than I do!

The cynic in me thinks they are drumming up business for the practice though!

Because of the advice, we always use effipro and so far it has worked very well.

ive not bought anything from my local vet for years due to there stupidly high prices for frontline etc
pet supermarket via topcashback gets my custom every time ;)

I don't usually watch FB videos - inane drivel - but my wife showed me that video last night and I immediately got the feeling something bad was going to happen with the child. As a parent of 3, it makes me feel very uncomfortable watching stuff like this. But then the cat appeared and I was gob-smacked! That's one kick-ass cat that deserves to be looked after like a King from that point onwards.

As for the dog - stick in a cage with that cat? ;)

Frontline is rubbish. Advocate works fine though. Not had a single flea on my two whilst they've been on it.

:)

That is one seriously cool cat. So cool in fact that we played it in both of our assemblies to the students today then showed them a YouTube vid of "Dog you shall not pass". :D:cool:

It is not marketeese, as i have had first hand experience of using frontline combo (combo is the vet-only stuff, so not even the cheap equivalent) and having a flea infestation a week later.

We had been using Advocate successfully up until recently and only changed to effipro for the tick coverage.

I love how nobody even bothers to mention the Bob Martin supermarket tat.

There was some research published recently which indicates that cats see us as "large, harmless versions of themselves".
Although the old adage "you never own a cat, they own you" maybe true, they do associate themselves with familiar humans and those they see on a regular basis are considered part of a "family unit".

So as someone above said, the cat saw an "infant cat" in trouble and instinct kicked in. I'm sure there are a lot of un-filmed incidents that we never get to hear about.
Seeing that cat in action was awesome.

- The cat messing around with the dog for ages.
- Dog got the red mist.
- Dog lunged at kid.
- Cat attacked Dog while he was busy munching on the kid's ankles.

Mystery solved. Cats aren't dogs, they don't give a crap. I thought that was well understood? Why is everybody going nuts over this.
