Complaints about state of garden

Suppose the main question is, do weeds count as plants in law? From a bit of googling it seems weeds aren't a separate thing in themselves, just types of plant that no one wants around.

LOL

It does confuse me when i see threads like these from the great brain of students who don't know whats right and left so to speak.

Clean the garden up you lazy so and so....

Take a couple of hours at the most? Or save some cash and pay someone to do it!

It really is a bit pathetic.

Finding any excuse to get out of having to take care of the garden. It's hardly an unfair or unusual request when renting a house.

....And i know a guy that wants 2 tree/bushes and some other weedy stuff cleared up too when you are finished.

well with the part of the city he's renting in I can only assume his garden blends in well with the neighbours properties so he might be able to successfully argue tidying the garden will upset the local eco system.
or
Claim some bats have taken up residence in a bush and legally they are a protected species so you have been unable to tidy the garden thus far

Take them to court over the definition of "plants". I'd be interested to see what a judge or magistrate would make of your case.

The contract is clear, the debate about stinging nettles an irrelevance. You can probably get some people in to sort it quicker than you'll ever manage it yourself and I did this many years ago at my own house when I was a lazy yooooof like the OP strikes me and for £100 I had a new garden in 1 day. Get your arse in gear or pay a man.

the contract clearly says "weeks" not weeds so it's not exactly clear

If you search google images for "week plant" it only shows cannabis and none is growing in his garden

I'd much rather do it myself than pay out £100 thanks

If you really do not care about the garden, then all you need to do is chuck weed+feed on it twice per year and mow it twice per month in the summer months.

It really is not hard, you are just lazy.

So what are you waiting for, go mow.

As I said at the start, I'm not waiting on any of this thread to get on with it. Just seeing how angry GD is tonight before I get on with it either over the weekend or sometime next week.

Less posts to poo through my letterbox than I expected.

You'd rather do the work, AND pay someone else!?

;)

Good spot. Fixed :P

you ? mad ? bro ?

Well i enjoyed it. Reminded me of my student days, except mine were better :)
