Right,

I made a mistake that I'm cringing about but I'm meeting up with a girl that I had a great friendship with however it did get sexual towards the end. We lost contact for over 10 years but instead of long phone calls I suggested we meet up for a meal to which she's asked me to come over to her place instead :/

Now what do I buy her ? Wine is a bad move .... any suggestions ?

// in be4 female condoms and crap like that guys.... I'm hoping tomorrow does not end up with sex being on the cards

Why do you have to buy her anything?!

You're meeting up for a meal. Bring a bottle of wine. Nothing else. You don't care about her that much and you clearly don't know her well enough hence why you're asking for generic 'gift ideas'.

Or if you don't want to go, don't go. Don't cringe about it. Make an excuse and back out.

Edit: Just saw you said wine is a bad idea. Why are you even going to see her? You don't want to have sex with her, you have no idea what to buy her (again, i don't know why you need to do this) so what's the point?

Really valid points mate.
I'm not the type of guy who doesn't follow through so I really don't want go back on my word.

I'm seeing her because we used to sit and talk for hours, she's unbelievably deep and intelligent it's a real pity that we ended up sleeping with each other but that was years ago and hopefully a forgotten mistake in my eyes.

She did once ask me if the sex meant anything. I had no reply
