If UKIP do get more seats in the European Parliament, though, we surely stand to suffer as they don't actually turn up that often. Also, it's not them who decide in or out, is it? I thought that would be decided by a referendum carried out by the government in power?

looking directly at the stats it doese show that 27725 Romanians have been arrested over a 5 year period the majority for "other crimes" (ie not rape, murder, burglary....)

This 27725 account for about 8% of crime committed by foreign national (note not 8% of all crime)

So, all this excitement about UKIP winning EU positions really doesn't amount to a great deal because firstly, they can't be arsed to vote, and secondly, we'll still be in the Eu anyway.
