*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I enjoyed RAGE as well, and this is comparable. If you had fun with that then you'll have the same experience with this. I didn't enjoy Bulletstorm mind, too frantic for my skills with a pad.

So far the most fun I've had with a shooter on the ps4. Better than cod and killzone, though KZ graphics are better.
I loved rage, think I might pick this up now :)

Transistor from the makers of Bastion is released tomorrow on PSN. Bastion was one of the best games in the past few years so have high hopes for this. Anybody planning on picking it up on the PS4?

Cheers for the heads up - I'd completely forgotten about this. Day one purchase mofos!

I'm just waiting on reviews for wolfenstein and watchdogs. if both review ok and general consumer feedback for both games is positive then that's two more games for me to play, and with Mario kart end if the month as well, totally spoilt IMO..

really enjoying MLB the show 2014 and still playing Zen pinball , so my ps4 is earning its keep under the telly : -)

Wolfenstein without multiplayer is just not worthy of a purchase from me IMO, their multiplayer is usually absolutely fantastic and I completely ignore single player tbh.

I'll be getting watch dogs and aiming for a sub £30 price either by buying digitally and getting my friend to chip in for the deluxe version or buying from US/Canada on holiday.

Haven't ordered form Zavvi for a couple of years now I think! are they any good?

If you want it at the time it is released I would go for someone more reliable. I would probably use them for something in stock at a good price but certainly not a preorder.

I downloaded Child of Light today and I have to say I'm impressed given its price. It was different to what I was expecting and that is for the better. Would recommend.

How do I know when something is fully installed? Got killzone today, it installed in a few min and said ready to play, but after loading, multi-player said it would be ready in X min.

Looking online, it seems it installs enough to play, then rest in background? How do you know when it's fully done?

Usually when it shuts off the drive. Can take a while depending on how big the game is.

Most of the time it works pretty seamlessly, e.g if you're playing the single player it will have installed enough that the rest installs without you even noticing.

Go to notifications on the PS homepage and check "downloads".

Guys, bit of an odd question but if you were going to choose betwbeen either a x1 or a Wii u to have as well as your ps4 what would you go for? I like the idea of kinect and the media capabilities but it seems having a Wii u and ps4 would offer more variety.

For me it would be WiiU all day, it's a much better combination. So long as you love Nintendo games as I do. :p

That's what I've been thinking, the draw of the nintendo first party titles seems far more than the xbox ones currently. I'm also cautious how kinect will pan out now it's non compulsory.

Wi u and ps4 along with a pc serves me well enough... unless you must play forza, but Mario kart 8 should swing it for you : -)

Wolfenstein is getting fairly solid reviews considering.. some 6 but mostly in the 8 and a few 9s so that's not sounding too bad at all.

Psn download is £49.99 which surprisingly is only a fiver more then my local Tesco. So cdkeys and psn vouchers it is then... Work out cheaper then Tesco if I buy from cdkeys, can get £35 psn card for £30 .... And ive got £15 credit on psn when last topped up on psn credit from cdkeys , jobs a good un I reckon.. apart from, hmm can't trade the game if I don't like it..
