There's no need, we do hold asylum seekers, we just don't have camps for it because we don't get that many.

Point 1=You have no idea about treatment so saying "they're not animals" is moot.
Point 2=You can't look to see if they a murders or pedos in the short space of time at a airport.
As I say they have them in the USA now for years but people still want to go there. So it can't be that bad.

Point 2, yes you can. In fact having close cooperation between EU police agencies and the existence of agencies such as EUROPOL mean you can do pretty comprehensive checks at border points. Leaving the EU would compromise that.
You're assuming people who want asylum have a choice where they go like it's a holiday.
Them bunch of do-gooders want to get mass murders off death row.
But they do say"seeking asylum is a fundamental legal and human right" that's not what the law says.

The question was whether Australia were treating asylum seekers badly. Evidence from people who have inspected on the ground say yes they are. UNHCR have also repeatedly raised concerns about conditions to the UN and the Australian government.

No system is ever foolproof. The nature of the work means that some people will slip through. We do have a system that is more joined up than pretty much any other set of countries.

If I'd watched him rape and kill my girlfriend, I'd have torn him apart if I could. This would be an emotional decision made in a split second.
However, if I'd been stopped before killing him, then I'd sit through his trial and given the option if he should live or die, I'd want him to live, without liberty, to remember what he did every day of his life.
