Hello,

We have a white ceramic frying pan and I cooked some onions in it and its gone black and gold where the oil has got hot.

Any idea how to get rid of the stains? Had washing up liquid on it and cant seem to get rid of it :(

Gave up on mine & Binned it, cooked dodgy anyway & was a nightmare after just one use.
My answer to anything awkward in my house is Bin it. :D

Are these the amazing pans that nothing sticks to and you only need a bit of water and tissue to clean from the info-mercials?

In my experience the best way to clean frying pans is when they are still smoking hot, get some water in it, get it really hot then go at it with a sponge/scourer if you can. Be careful not to get burnt!

yeah do this. put water in the pan and boil on a high heat.

Ceramic pans are nothing new and they've always been naff.

Just accept it's got some carbon burnt to it, it won't do you any harm and will likely improve the non stick qualities. It's a pan not an artpiece.
