Whilst I'm not sure if it will be a majority overall (this forum doesn't really represent the wider country lets face it), are you surprised?

Take a set of disenchanted voters - rightly so - throw in some punchy one liners, clever marketing, and appeal on a single contentious issue to cover up the fact that you don't really have any policies, and people will vote for you in droves.

Conservatives - debatable whether they've done a decent job or not, I can understand why people won't vote for them
Labour - who would honestly vote Labour, especially with Ed miliband in charge (and yes I realise these are EU elections, not the GE, but people tend to vote along party lines anyway)?
LibDem - Can't see them getting many votes again for quite a while
Green - No real workable policies
UKIP - We love Britain, and want out of Europe.

You're right, the forum doesn't represent the wider country but let's face it, polls outside the forum do and they suggest wide country support for UKIP.

It genuinely scares me that the majoriy are voting UKIP. That party represents everything that makes me ashamed to be a Brit. If they get in I will honestly consider emigrating elsewhere

What makes me laugh is how so many of the left wing "anti facists" are in fact being facists by denouncing anyone who has an opinion they do not agree with by using such high brow arguments... ( ie insults and violent behaviour ).

I don't know you man, but I think you're not getting it, I wouldn't want you to feel you have to move back to SA, it really is just about Britain getting back control of our borders, it simply just isn't sustainable to leave the gates open.

No i was pointing out that ALL our current politcians are idiots.... as far as the average non affiliated voter is concerned. The die hard supporters will of course never be swayed but the roaming vote seems to favour UKIP at the moment because they appear ( note i say APPEAR ) to be the ones saying they will deal with the big issue... imigration.

Even though most of us know that immigration is a side issue... it would seem that view is not shared by the masses.

And by lefties i means the likes of those who pretended to be romanians just so they could shout at a non white candidate for being racist!... they were acting just like facist scum yet its morons like that who claim to be anti-facist!

This is why i hold elmarko in higher esteem than you, you simply cannot say anything without abuse to those who have opposite views to you. It's the politics of negatives and that's why no one is listening to your side of the spectrum any more.

I'd like you say why your party is so much better without mentioning UKIP once, or at least back up your views with hard evidance, go on you might like it
