Well I've put 4 AS2's on my F10 530D and I have to say so far I am impressed. I had Michelin Super Sports on previously which though a great road holding and feedback tyre, on my car were a pain the ass. They lasted very very well, but good god they made a noise and the stiff tyre wall amplified the issues with an M-Sport set up.
The AS2's are MUCH quieter as a tyre, which was vital to me on such a car and so far they seem to hold on well too.

Fortunately help is at hand - I have 4 brand new Goodyear Excellent RFT's in your exact size and I'd be happy to swap them with you at no cost to you.
The Excellence is a much better tyre than the F1A2 - the ride is harsher, to keep you awake, they make plenty of noise at all speeds to remind you that you are in a car and if you get a puncture in one that can't be repaired everyone in the tyre shop will think you are flash-harry when you spend 300 quid on a single tyre. Also, we all know that going sideways is for cool kids - and the Excellence has more slip available to you to achieve this.
Fancy it?
. In fairness I don't mind it as tyres go, the grip is very good from them (I haven't felt them lacking in the wet or dry yet anyway) and my current rear has done 23k(the other was replaced due to a Stanley blade puncturing it) where as the CS3 and F1A2 lasted 13 and 16k on the E61 with the same driving. My dad had used to have them on his GT and when he put Assy 2 RFTs on there the other month, he immediately noticed the difference in road noise and turn-in.
I just paid £230 for one of those![]()

Any good alternatives to AS2s? Can't get them in the size my Mazda needs.
