Guys I currently have a bitfenix ronin and its currently damaged (side window broke) - I got crazy kids...

Nways im stuck between getting the same case, or a 450d or a 540 air now - or wait for the phatenks primo pro but I cant see myself waiting for july if it was out now I would've gotten it now without thinking twice

This is what I think of so far:

Bitfenix Ronin -
Probably the best case for its price at £69
Loads of fan space/cooling and looks good
dust filters everywhere
nothing to complain apart from maybe no rubber grommets, and the upper part where the switch off buttons, reset and usb ports can be easily damaged when removing upper part.

450d - from youtube video I have seen
only thing that's holding me back is that I don't see it as much improvement from the bitfenix ronin at an additional £30

Corsair 540
Cube case so its different, cable management should be easy, looks awesome as well, BUT lack of dust filters???

Which one would you guys go for?

I have the Air 540 its a really nice case cable management easiest iv ever had and plenty of room inside to work.
You do get a dust filter on the front were you would have the 3 120mm fans but that's it.
You can buy and after market set but there expensive.

I'm going from a corsair 540 to a 450D and the 540 is a dust magnet. that's the down size. The good is its huge and fits everything you put in it. PSU is in the back and cable management is so easy because it's hidden in the back. I'm changing because its too big and wide and the dust problems. 540 has no dust filters on the bottom where the HDD mount. So for me a mid tower would be better for me. Also the corsair 450D has the best dust filters placement I've ever seen on a case.

tbh mate I think you should get the 540 because it's different from your older case. It's nice to try something different now and then.

540 m8! It's honestly amazing
Take alook at some of the project build with the 540! Beautiful case to work with. And cable management is ace! Good price 2!

nice one guys- keep them coming! Gotta make up my mind tomorrow (pay day) but so far it seems its between the 540 or wait for phatenks primo pro

You can get dust filters for the 540, but you will need to make sure that any fans you use, other than the stock fans, are either thinner or fitted on the inside. The 540 does comes with filters, but if using fans like the SP120's, the filter will not fit back on due to their thickness.

there seems not too be a huge issue with dust inside the case, did a bit of researching and nothing much pops up and where my pc would be placed there will be hardly any dust - so shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Btw can you place SSDs on those 2 slots at the front instead of HDDs? Also white or black?

Dust is a issue with my 540 and I have filter everywhere. No big deal though. I dust my case every 2 weeks. And yes mate you can put 2 SSD drives instead of HDD. You also have 4 SSD mounts on the back too.

See its the dust thing holding me back and I don't wanna spend extra money on filters that should've been included in the 1st place - I now feel the 450d is out the race for sure, reviews and videos just seems to make the case not worthy it. I might just reoder my bitfenix ronin and save me £30 ? If only the Phantecks pro was out now!!!!

Ordering tomorrow so any input/help is welcome guys
