Random thought - would a tiger paw at a shark tank?

So years ago my cat would sit staring endlessly at the goldfish in a bowl. Eventually she figured out she could paw the lid right off and killed the fish.

If a tiger was situated next to a shark in a tank, do the same instincts kick in? Would the tiger stare and paw at the tank, and similarly would the shark come to the edge and eye up the tiger?

I'd be intrigued to see how this would play out

Up until what size of shark though. Say it's a great white at 30ft? And what happens if the tiger can get its paw into the tank? I suspect there would be some commotion in the water.

The relative size difference between a domestic cat and domestic fish is very different from that of a tiger and a shark (which I am assuming you mean of the bbigger shark variety), so my assumption woudl be no.

Shut up, it would!

A shark out of water would be cat food. A tiger in the water would by shark food. If they were both in custard though, then maybe the octopus would win.

Does a cat actually think 'oh this is a fish, I must have it', or is it just interested in anything that moves about a bit?

I think the latter, and the tiger would be keen to play :)

You forget of the forever confusing paradox of shark infested custard, sharks thrive in custard its a phenomenon that no one has been able to explain :D:D

would this tiger kill these 2 dogs?
no

any tiger near a shark tank or whatever would be as tame as that one.

the one behind the bars doesn't seem aggressive either

Since the Tiger is a mythical animal much like the Grey Finch, the chances of shark attack are further increased outside of the city.
