Wolfenstein: The new order breaks 2gb

It's not my fault you don't understand.

Indeed. It's a two pronged graph to illustrate that minimums of 57 and average of 60 is a better experience than 52/60. It's fine in my eyes.

Well wouldn't it be good to explain? You do know that's what a forum is "discussion" what good is it you just replying with No? Lol you added jack to the thread. We don't all claim to know everything and I have added my part. So Mr know it all explain.

There ain't no point Shankly. As illustrated by your lack of understanding surrounding PhysX you don't listen so I shan't waste my time. Ignorance is bliss :D

Give it some time...even with new dx get rolled out in the pass, we weren't exactly immediately getting hit in the face with army of gorgeous looking games right off the bet :p

Still think it's a bit sad that the best looking game out there (Crysis 3), in my opinion, was released over a year ago now and we haven't had any title to overtake it in that time.

They are too underpowered unfortunately. I suspect that this will be one of the shortest console generations we have seen.
Except console gamers generally don't have a clue about spec or performance or decent gaming experience. If anything, the consoles will be holding back the PC gaming much sooner than the previous gen consoles, while life-cycles remain the same as the previous consoles :o

might just start adding, nothing to threads discussion maybe I'll get a higher post count that way. :p

And I wasn't wrong with the Physx debate. I proven that with footage you just couldn't understand the fact batman ac Physx runs fine on the CPU.
Not getting into that not correct thread.

So please do enlighten with your great knowledge. :D

Because their minimums drop below 60 Bru. :)

Its because the 770 has lower minimum fps. That's how they do their graphs. Seems pretty simple to me. :D

Ah yes I get it now, the distance between minimum and average stays the same, but because the minimum is lower the average moves to the left as well.

As you say pretty simple, I just didn't see it at first.

Is there any discernible difference in image quality between high and ultra? they could have a "Super-Duper Ultra" mode which uses 5GB VRAM just for the sake of it and a lot of people would be rushing out to buy a 6-8GB card on the basis they can't run top setting.

I miss RTCW :D. Game doesn't look for me but you're right in that loading up the memory for the sake of it with textures which visually look identical is another point.

The term console port is used when a pc game lacks pc enabled features like FOV slider etc
This game was built on a pc not on a console so therefore it's a pc game.

So you think console only games are built on a console?
Do the developers code using the on-screen keyboard?

To be honest I'm not entirely sure I know how to describe what I consider a console port, but I do know (mostly) what I consider a console port.

Rome: Total WEar - PC game
World Of Warcraft - PC game
Crysis - PC Game
Crysis 2 - Console Port
Half-Life 2 - PC game
Left 4 Dead - PC Game
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Console Port
<anything with a framerate locked to 30 or 60 fps that is available on a console> - console port

Mass Effect - probably a console port
Skyrim - not sure where I sit

Skyrim was really easy to tell. Its a console port. Plug in a pad and the menus work great. Its definitely designed with console in mind. Its still a great game on pc though. Port or not if done properly it matters little.

So a complete lack of AA options doesnt scream console port to you? And the fact that it is buggy as hell on Pc but runs ok on console

AA can be fully controlled from the console, the options are just not shown in the generic menus, which IMO is a good idea, hide the advanced controls from the non advanced users.

You need to input the AA commands every time you launch the game, read elsewhere Radeon Pro enables it, I imagine Nvidia Inspector should do the same for team green.

Were did I say console only games built on console? I never I said all games are built on the pc. Every single game is made on a pc. So the only games ported are console from pc. Not pc to pc lol a pc game is built on a pc.

Console port is a term that today gets over used, like you said if game is lock to 60fps it get called console port but in fact it's just a lazy development build and not using the pc hardware to its full potential. It's not because they just copy and pasted.

So therefore every game is a PC game, including the ones only available on a console?
