I'm saying that on average they are older, whiter & less educated - this isn't a subjective evaluation, it's a statistical fact.

I wasn't intended as an insult, just the reasoning as to why they received a smaller percentage of the vote share in London which is at odds with the traits of the average UKIP voter.

Even their own spokesperson said the same thing.

The quote of the spokesperson has been taken out of context, uneducated is being swung around as synonym for thick. This is wrong, people may correct themselves to say they meant they lack higher education but the sentiment is still there. It shouldn't be tailoring peoples views on stereotypes that old white people who lack a degree are all racists because that would be somewhat ironic for what they're being called out for themselves. And I'm sure most of the voters for Labour, Conservative, LibDem and UKIP are old and white because they are the biggest voting block; there's more of them to go around.

A person with no higher education does not have a reduction in say on what goes, the validity of their vote or their views is just as important as anyone else. Everybody has different problems and goals in life which has been reflective in how they vote, this is how political parties operate.

This voting trend based on very personal views does go against a large amount of peoples understanding on how the other half live, there are many, many people online who cannot empathise with the people who have to compete with immigrants for jobs, housing, school places and NHS time. So they have resorted to following the trend laid out by the political parties that they must be racists and looneys.

Well there is evidence which shows that none EU migrants do not make a net contribution to British society. It's the same study which people cited in this thread as evidence for the positive benefit of EU immigration. Does that qualify as 'actual evidence'?

Has this evidence been posted with a source? There was a post that suggested the opposite.

Perhaps less educated people have less appreciation of the macro economic impacts of migration though?

We've already shown that around 36% of london residents are immigrants not "most". Your assertion that foreigners want free stuff is also hilarious and offensive in equal measure.

How is it offensive? its not just foreigners its most labour voters simply want free stuff, that's why milliband sounds like an infomerical sales men whenever he speaks.

"If you vote for me ill "get" you a pay rise and a tax cut and a free house." - milliband

36% foreigners? hmm well how much are a percentage of voters? I bet if we had the statistics we would see 90%+ foreigners voting for labour. That is why labour is wanting to import voters from any where they can.

We would probably see something like 40% of londers voting of that 40%, 60% are foreigners, thus why labour takes london.

Oh, I see, this is a game of "make up the stat". I can play too. I bet 90% of UKIP voters are not in a professional career that requires high levels of education.

Who counts as a "Foreigner"?

Speculate all you want, but without any facts, you are just speculating in the direction of your bias.

Since 1995, non-EU immigrants have made a negative impact, primarily because they have larger families. They also account for 2/3 of immigration in this period.

That statistics compare the proportion of each age band to the base (of that age band), they don't look at them in isolation.

I never said they don't have a right to be angry, but if they genuinely think immigration is the biggest concern facing the UK they are simply misinformed or uninformed.

We have much bigger issues on the table than blaming people from other countries for our woes, it's also highly predictable during times of economic hardship & has been replicated historically & internationally.

We have a jobs problem yes, we also have a dysfunctional housing market (for a majority of the population) & our health service is under-funded.

Voting for UKIP will not address any of these issues, the problem is our taxation system, how we allocate our funding within the UK & the deliberate pumping of the housing market (coupled with a lack of desire to build desirable & affordable housing).

Blame the governments for making poor choices, the electorate for voting terrible leaders & ourselves for not doing enough about it - but don't point at a minority in a society & attempt to put all the blame on them.

It's incorrect, unpleasant & thoroughly shameful.
