She maybe misguided, but so are 99% of the electorate.

.

why are they wrong and you're not?????

The trouble with lots of people on here they suffer from narcissism and Egocentrism. I blame social media there is a whole generation who think they are some how more informed, intelligent and interesting. It really is a curse and its going to get worse:(

Yeah, it's really weird isn't it, they just refuse to accept that someone else just doesn't see it their way and are now kicking and shouting because the tides turning, that's democracy and they don't like it.

Yup 17% a massive majority for the mighty ukip, unfortunately only 2% in the 18/24 so it looks like ukip voters die a lot more than they attract new voters hence lower than the 23% it got in last years council elections, a bunch of sad old dying xenophobes rather than a movement on the march, if you do go on a march watch out for your hip old timers.

I didn't say that they're wrong, or that I'm right. Just that people are often irrational or poorly informed.

UKIP will always have a chance in a society like ours where it's becoming more and more ill educated and led by the nose by popular slogans and the mass media. Blame the foreigners for our woes herp derp  it's easy to blame others for your woes, sums up Britain today really "don't take personal responsibility, blame someone else then wait for it to get fixed for you"

Hate this country and it will only get worse :(

Maybe they are actually older and wiser and can see what is really going on and so vote UKIP;)

No, even on our own forum the most vocal supporters of UKIP were classic cliche - ex BNP supporters with very narrow and uniformed views.

anything that is trying to decentralize and lower taxes (that rules out Tories, Labour, Libdems and Greens(reds)), why am I paying 20% income tax, 20 VAT, NI, and all the rest of this nonsense for all these failures we call social programs - the state can't even maintain the roads it's pathetic yet the left continue to expand and centralize power. Of course most people like to use media catchphrases "dats rassist!" when it comes to border control, but they seem to have little understanding of economics and are instantly against having responsible green card schemes and making sure living standards don't drop as much as they have done. It affects us all, put aside your insecure views on race when it comes to managing populations.

Hmm...

Osborne warns on poll 'consequence' said:
Voters will "live with the consequences for years" if they fail to switch their votes to the Tories, George Osborne warned as he said the party would work to address the "anger and anxiety" which produced significant Ukip advances in local elections.
The Chancellor was careful not to criticise people who backed the Eurosceptic party in Thursday's polls, insisting he had "respect" both for them and Ukip leader Nigel Farage, despite him being forced to deny claims of racism over remarks about immigrants.

"The Left" haven't been in power for decades, so how have they expanded and centralised power?

So you honestly think that,

one opinion = another opinion

?

When one's based on reason and evidence, whilst the other is just an unsubstantiated opinion/assertion?

There's no argument here, people will always have a different view to others, immigration is getting out of control, this Government have refused to listen to those effected and it appears you are too. I hope now this Government will sit up and take notice, we will not be ignored any longer. Get over it.

Yeah I don't like it. A functional democracy is dependant on having an intelligent, informed and engaged population, something the United Kingdom lacks. Furthermore I find it genuinely scary that the come the referendum, the future of this country will be determined by knee-jerk reactions from Sun reading delinquents.

So you complain that people won't see your point of view and then go on to dismiss the points of views of others?

It's absolutely right that people should be worried that people with your mental capacity will be allowed to have a part in determining future policies.

Oh dear, personally I don't really care about your views but respect you have a right to one. It's great you are worried, shows our views are now having an impact, this is really good stuff.

And yet another one. It's like we have a generation of tantrum types who keep stamping their feet. Off to the corner with you.

You don't though, as you've clearly demonstrated.

Nobody here has trouble accepting that you think differently to them, you've made that abundantly clear. When people try to challenge you on your views you then dismiss them as not being accepting or refusing to believe that not everyone is like them. Grow up.

The problem is that there are a fair few posters who seem to equate all votes for UKIP to be ill-informed.

Be quiet.
