Is the stock fan good enough for my FX 6300?

I've been looking around recently and there are a lot of mixed views on whether the stock CPU fan is good enough for certain things. Primarily I do gaming with one monitor at 1920x1080 with ultra settings (with BF4) with another monitor set up with facebook and skype with the same resolution. With this information, is the stock fan good enough?

P.S. I'm also interested in seeing whether the stock fan's inability to cope could have caused my PC to keep on freezing whilst playing games, both with two monitors but also with only one. Or it could have even of been my mobo as it was second hand and that's what my dad's friend thinks. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as always, thank you.

The stock cooler will be fine provided you don't overclock. It may get hot under specific tasks, but it will cool the chip just fine.

Best ad use I can give is to invest in an aftermarket cooler for £20-30.

Any suggestions? the EVO 212 seems quite popular.v
And how do I make sure I don't accidentally overclock?

Solid choice. There is also the Raijintek and if you want to spend more, Alpenfohn, Phanteks, Thermalright and Noctua are superb alternatives.

You cannot accidentally overclock, you'll be fine.

Awesome, I might invest in the summer, when I actually have money, for a aftermarket cooler as it will be a bit hotter. Thanks for the help
