Question on content of EVGA Supernova G2 1300w

hello,

i was wondering if anyone knows if the "EVGA SuperNova G2 1300W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply" sold at OCUK comes with all the cables it supports, i ask because there is no information on the webpage while on the EVGA web-store it shows images of the cables as well as the psu and details regarding them (length, type)

What are your system specs? 1300w seems slightly overkill! :D

The image on Ocuk would be the standard image and I would have thought it will come with all the leads required.

i would imagine so also however i just wanted to make sure i wouldn't get myself in a tough situation :)

my specs would only require around a 1000w but since the EVGA is a good PSU and at a good price this is my first choice

thanks for the reply, however i was referring to the lack of information on the OCUK webpage, i couldn't find a view spec sheet link (on OCUK) the information on EVGA was very thorough.

currently using 16GB 1600mhz RAM, i3 (OC to 4.2GHz (possibly upgrading soon)), gigabyte 780 ti OC (might upgrade with another to SLI) 250gb SSD (also upgrading soon) Rat 7 + cyborg keyboard and might buy a sound card soon

so im making sure to future proof :)

the view spec sheet was mentioned for the EVGA homepage, I posted the link to the specsheet also.. just click the link I have posted and you will find all information.

Yes 1300w currently is overkill for my system but for the good price and brand as well as room for upgrade it seems liek the right choice for me at the moment. Iv seen this page before its very helpful, although mine is a factory overclocked card with 1085mhz max so its pulling alittle more :)

can i get complete clarification that all of the wires stated on EVGA are also included from purchasing through OCUK?
 
your system would bwe happy with a 600w PSU and that would give room for upgrades

800w is your going SLI

1200+ for for massive power drain like 4 titan's and a OC's i7 duel CPU set ups

im currently using a 750w running 54 amps down the 12v rail which isnt sufficient for the 42 amps of the GPU leaving 12 for the rest of my entire system.

the is 54amp on the 12v, 22amp on the 5v and 22amp on the 3.3v

that will power your system just fine for many years

Your current system would run on a 450W psu believe it or not :)


 
1000w would be a massive overkill even for 780ti SLI. The rig in my siggy only pulls 290-320w at the wall while gaming. Your current setup would be even less than that.
 
If he would lower the clocks on the card to rule that out it would end the debate one way or another. His psu is more than enough for what he has and he should not listen to one persons blinded, aggressive suggestion. Rule out the easy to do stuff first.
