Question on content of EVGA Supernova G2 1300w

Yes 1300w currently is overkill for my system but for the good price and brand as well as room for upgrade it seems liek the right choice for me at the moment. Iv seen this page before its very helpful, although mine is a factory overclocked card with 1085mhz max so its pulling alittle more :)

Overkill perhaps but you'll notice your leccy bill shooting up with a 1300 switched on all the time.

Poor PSU, it'll spend so much of it's life at such low load percentages. You really shouldn't overspec by so much - yes, quality is important, but adding watts is not a good thing. While the PSU will only pull what it needs efficiency normally suffers under 20% load and it can actually be more stressful for the PSU than 40-50% load. 600W for your current use, 250W in case you go SLI, call it 850W.

Can stick with the same brand if you like: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-013-EA&groupid=701&catid=123

Much better match for your needs, and £50 saved too.
