Is this good enough for my specs?

To any admin reading this, can you delete my old thread about a new motherboard, thanks.
Anyway, I want to know if this motherboard will work with my other components? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-349-GI
So is that motherboard good enough for these parts?
-XFX HD7870 that's use PCIe X16
-FX 6300 AM3+ processor. Not overclocked and not planning to either.
-2 sticks of 4GB ram at 1333mhz DDR3 (Corsair)
-Corsair builder series CX600 ATX PSU.

So yeah, is the motherboard good or not? Thanks. I'm also not looking to crossfire, but I may buy a better amd CPU and a GPU in.the future.

Good enough but I would take a look at the Asus-es too as they have proved to be the most stable AM3+ motherboards. If you do not want to overclock the options you have with fan control and good BIOS in an Asus will prove functional at some point.

Do you have any suggestions for motherboards from Asus within.the similar price range? Thanks, I've still got around 8 days to decide but please, tell me anything of benefit and I'm not entirely sure on what to get just yet, thanks.

Tbh I would say no, I'd go for the Gigabyte. Marginally better VRM on the board which is very important, UK RMA etc - both are excellent though

If you aren't overclockin and you aren't running more than one graphics card, save your money and get the gigabyte 970a ds3p. It does everything you need.

I'll go for the gigabyte, it was the one someone from a local computer shop suggested and the only bad reviews I've seen is where the FX6100 doesn't work but my 6300 should be fine I guess.

I would buy the Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 as you really do not need the extra 2 phases but good fan control and bios layout are always a helpful thing. RMA isn't great, I agree but OCUK are good enough to make sure you are not going to get screwed.

I've only ever had bad experiences with Asus stuff, thus my apprehensiveness about buying one again. (I previously I had M5A99X R2.0 EVO and broke within a week.) Also, can you explain some of those things you said such as RMA and the 2 phases?

Tbh this is going to go no where, just pick one and get it lol - imo the Gigabyte, but both are excellent boards

The M5A97 R2.0 EVO has 8 phases while the GB from your post has 10 phases. I had trouble with Asus as well (had a mobo and graphics and as you can see now from the signature have none) but this does not mean the Asus boards are bad in any way. Their RMA is not the greatest, it's usually quite slow and might take decisions that are not always in your favour. The thing I said about OCUK is that they will try to protect you as the RMA goes through them.

Can you explain what RMA is because I'm not entirely sure what it is and also what do the phases do? I'm gonna go with the gigabyte but I just want you to clarify those small things, thanks.

RMA - Return merchandise authorization (Basically returning the item to the manufacturer if it goes wrong, Asus are generally not great for this service)

Phases - VRM, voltage regulator module. Basically deliver power to the CPU from the motherboard in a more uniform and better fashion if there are more phases, which really helps on these FX CPU's

Good choice with the Gigabyte :)

Yep, asus' RMA is terrible. I went to them with my motherboard and they told me to go to the seller, which then said it was only asus' business to sort out! But apparently gigabyte aren't that good either but I'm willing take my chances!

Gigabyte are excellent! Normally less than 1 week turn around, UK RMA!
