Where have the free kids toys gone?

Hi GD,

Just been sat here wondering what ever happened to getting free toys/collectible items in your cereal, packets of crisps etc...

I was thinking yesterday about my StarWars Tazo collection which you used to collect through Walkers crisps.

When did giving free stuff away suddenly stop!?

I managed to collect various toys through Kellogs etc... and didn't choke on any of them.

People really need to learn how to life.

well thats very true. but people seem to enjoy sueing companies. Your bringing me back to when I had Pogs and tamagotchi... oh my days

Why just give stuff away in the pack when you can have "Enter this code on our website, Give us your personal data, and we'll give you stuff"?

Kelloggs have free collectable world cup soft balls in their cereal at the moment. I got the netherlands. But they are outside the actual bag of cereal in the box.

I was having to describe these to a co-worker recently (22 years old). They had no idea what I was talking about.

Didn't Kelloggs do some beads for your spokes at one point too?

Does anyone remember those horrible roll-up shades that Rice Krispies did?
