I cant decide which one to get, currently have a Galaxy S 3. (rooted)

I will be rooting the new phone.

Help me choose.

All I really know are Galaxy phones (Original Galaxy S & the S3).


Help me now (please).
 
The big difference is screen size and stylus support - is that important to you?

How important are the stereo speakers?

Do you prefer OLED to LCD?

Note 3 should also work out cheaper.
 
I think it's fair to say the camera/video recording is better on the Note 3 as well (or will be for some people).

You could also consider the S5 if you want a Galaxy phone but find the Note too big.
 
I was in the same boat as you, and went with the M8.

I've fully converted it into a rooted Google Play edition. HTC seem quite open with their support for developers.

I'm not sure what the situation is with knox on the Note 3, but it's something to take into consideration.

Stereo speakers sound good for watching films etc. But the note 3 has a bigger screen for it.

Yes the note is cheaper.

I'm struggling to see why you'd get anything other than the M8 to be honest. Unless you're wearing headphones for a lot of media consumption, it's no contest.
