Demon's Souls 2 - Project beast (Rumour)

Its not really even a rumour now after all the DS2 stuff, if its based on Demon Souls IP it will be PS exclusive

I hope they go back to levels and nexus - just felt like more of an accomplishment for me having that level design

I much preferred the Dark Souls 1 world. Atmosphere was a lot better when the world was so well linked together.

This will be a huge exclusive for PS4.

Agreed. I preferred the hub setup in Demon's Souls. Particularly in Dark Souls 2, with all the teleporting between fires, everything feels a little disjointed and aimless. Demon's Souls was also just that little bit more dark and twisted in atmosphere too. Hopefully they'll bring back the MASSIVE bosses!

This is right at the top of my most wanted games list :D

Games like this are why I'm glad I got a PS4.:cool:
 
I've never played any of the Demon/dark games.. however I hear people constantly chatting about how good they are.. so I'm excited to see this if true!
 
While it looks very 'Soulsy' I can't help but think it could be another series as the melee weapon gives a very main weapon kind of feel rather than just another weapon you can pick up and as such goes against the Souls design.

If it is a Souls game though I hope it's Demon's Souls 2, It's by far my favourite from a look and feel perspective.
 
Was watching this at the weekend. Was hyped after the leaked pictures a while back and despite only a very small showing here, it looks amazing to me already.

I series has got slightly worse with each release IMO, but all 3 have been the best 3 games of the previous generation by some margin too. So, for me at least - this is likely to be the best PS4 game for some time.
Hope we get a lot more info at E3.

I don't like many games these days and have been asked if I even like games a few times - well it's games like the Souls games that keep me playing.

I'd love this to be more like Demon's Souls - but just bigger and with obviously more refinements here and there and the new graphics udate. Would be super happy with that
