late 2012 Imac glass

So just come back from Holiday, was putting me imac back on the desk hit the door on the way in and cracked the glass. my question is how much will apple charge me to replace the glass Pic below Thanks

Aside form that you can easily do it yourself. The panel is not fused to the glass, so it just requires a suction cup to pull it off and you can buy a new one somewhere else.

It's the newest model so it doesn't.come off with the suction cups it's glued I think

Panel is fused to the glass now.

I don't have a clue about the current price, I'd imagine around £400-500 or something for the 27".

You can buy the panels off the 'Bay for about £300 from what I've just searched, and while a pain, you could do it yourself, there are guides out there.

just looked on ifixit.com looks hard to do. booked in on Thursday at the liverpool one apple see what type of price they come back with

If it's just the glass then I'd be surprised if an independent couldn't do the work for <£150.

Its £514 on that webby ouch makes one think how much apple are going to charge.
An thats for just the screen 2nd hand without fitting,

Just claim on your house insurance - accidental damage. You may have to pay the first £50 but that's a snip.
