Afternoon all,

I have a Mini Cooper S that I want to sell. It is -I believe- a cracking example after having done a bit of work to it and so I need good money back for it...
52 plate
76k
FSH

Front O/S wheel bearing replaced with SKF item ~£120
Lemforder inner and outer ball joints ~£90
Powerflex rear wishbone bushes, anti roll bar bushes and steering rack bushes ~£100
Brembo discs and pads ~£80
4 new Goodyear Eagle F1-about 400 miles on them! ~£500

I want £4k which I really don't think is unreasonable. Is it?!

Is it worth paying the fee on autotrader?
eBay auction or classified ad?
Pistonheads maybe?

What are your thoughts...

I would try Gumtree first it's free and I sold my 2 previous cars on there. I'm having a nightmare trying to shift my current Focus though it's already up for a cheap price an I still have people offering me way under. Buyers on eBay always seem to want cars for next to nothing and make silly offers even as a classified. Piston heads might be your best choice it's the cheapest and with it being a cooper s it's the kinda thing people will look for on there.

eBay is an auction site, i buy cars through there occasionally but i do expect them at auction prices. When selling cars through eBay you should always align your expectations with auction values. Most buyers through there will be the same :)
