£800 Gaming PC. Review please?

Thanks for that. It was a nice insight of the case.

Quick question about the Motherboard/CPU problem the guy had, will this affect the PC in any way? I feel a bit paranoid when it comes to things like this.

You mean the CPU power cable for the motherboard? If so, can do like he suggested - pass that cable through the hole on the top-right of the back panel, before attaching the motherboard.

Through a random stroke of luck, it seems my brother has obtained a set of G-Skill Ripjaws 2 x4 (8gb) 1600MHz RAM that he doesn't need :D. This is good news since I have £50 that I can upgrade my PSU and case with.

I'm guessing you mean this one http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-012-EA&tool=3

Well there's around £30 left for the case upgrade. I'll see what I can find and update you.

The Nex is still a good psu. I was just pointing out that it is made by a different oem than the regular units. If the G2 would take you over budget then go for the NEX. I am pretty certain that you get the 10 year warranty, but you have to register it with EVGA.

There are a couple of decent cases in the 'B' grade section which might be worth a look over.

YOUR BASKET
1 x **B Grade** NZXT Switch 810 Ultra Tower Case - Matt Black £79
1 x **B Grade** NZXT Phantom 630 High Performance Modular Ultra Tower Case - White £78
Total : £175.42 (includes shipping : £15.35).

YOUR BASKET
1 x NZXT Switch 810 Ultra Tower Case - Matt Black £149.99
1 x NZXT Phantom 630 High Performance Modular Ultra Tower Case - White £145.99
Total : £314.40 (includes shipping : £15.35).

'B' grade items are things that have been returned to ocuk for whatever reason. You can get some good bargains from time to time.

Although the cases are great, I have 2 issues. One would be that I don't quite trust getting second hand items since it feels like a gamble on the chance that I might get something I'm not happy with and am stuck with it. Secondly, I think £80 is a bit too far off, as I was looking at around £60-£70 maximum.

I've found a few cases that seem rather interesting to me though:

You can probably tell I'm going for the Black/Red colour scheme. I checked reviews for each of these and all point to them being decent cases for their price level, however I would need to buy more fans to get them up to par.

There's also another case I found that doesn't seem to be on this site, and that's the CM Storm Scout 2. It looks good and is supposed to be great with both cable management and airflow.
