Steam, Origin and Uplay

Steam is far superior to the others.
Uplay could be soo much better if they fix those network/ server issues, just no consistency at the moment.
I can't stand Origin, and just keeping well clear of that *****

Origin has come a long way but I'd still rather not have to use it, Steam hasn't caused me any real problems in a long time and mostly just works for me.

Uplay I've had nothing but problems with and now refuse to have it on any system of mine.

Most of my games are on steam but Origin works perfectly fine for me, just as well as steam. I have never had any problems with Uplay though but I have only played Far Cry 3 on it for the few weeks after it came out. Come to think of it, I actually don't have UPlay even installed.

I've got all 3. Steam is great for the community and as a whole it has everything all there in it's interface and in-game interface is great.
Origin is ok now, just use it to launch BF3/4, that's all.

UPlay is ****, has never worked well for me, ever. Crashes or fails to connect a lot of the time.

As far as i'm aware, they don't interfere with each other.

Hmm interesting observations from you lot. Here's mine.

Steam = Let me ******** login first time please. Overall login time nowadays is about a good five minutes with 2-3 login attempts average.
Origin = Stop forgetting my credentials with every sodding update. Hence not used it since December.
uPlay = Not a single problem, though I never bought Watchdags.

Steam is great, only that it has been buggy lately with trading and adding friends and stuff. Trade offers have become a pain and so has accepting trades.

Origin has been fine for me, but it seems quite plain in comparison to STEAM.

Never needed to use UPlay.

Steam is the daddy, I really appreciate the big picture mode and most of my games library is on it.

Origin isn't too bad at all, their customer service are actually far far better than Steam as you speak to someone straight away and they've always sorted out any issues I've had (which tended to be cancelling pre-orders) within 10-15 minutes.

Uplay is pretty pointless. There are enough servers so it goes ****-up when a big game launches (hello Watch Dogs).

Steam for me, I've never opened up Uplay or Origin unless I'm running a game. Steam, I open up as soon as I boot up my PC, sit on the store for a few mins, browse some forums, pick a game from my library and play.

The others don't offer me that. Therefore, Steam wins for me.

Steam is acceptable, actually it's quite ok.

I refuse to install Origin because I object to spyware.

Uplay is a piece of technical junk. I have Anno2070 sitting around awaiting the time when a non-uplay patch is released for it. At the time I got conned into believing it was playable off-line. Fool me once.

Whats this about spyware?

I use all 3 and haven't had a much of a problem with any of them but then I only play games through them.
I'm not interested in and don't get involved in the communities, groups, forums, trade systems etc so for me they are just a mechanism to launch a game.

And calling Origin spyware is a little over the top, again I've not had a single issue and the free games they've had up recently have been a welcome surprise.

I must say, I've never really had many problems with any of them. If anything i've had the most problems with steam, since i use that 95% of the time.

Origin has always worked pretty well for me on BF4, Sims and dead Space. I've played black flag and Far Cry through Uplay too and it worked fine, all i require really.

But every other day i will have a steam signing in problem, so it's that I notice the most.

Steam all day long. Origin i can live with.

I really want Watch Dog, but UPlay. Don't get me started.

In the small amount of time I've used Origin (Titanfall) or UPlay (FarCry 3) I've not really had problems on either and certainly no issues from running all 3 on the PC.

However like many have said Steam is my go-to gaming software and the only one I allow to auto start. I've the occasional won't login first time or games that don't work first time (X Com) but were relatively easy issues to fix.

It is a shame that PC gaming is so fragmented but understandable.

I've never had any problems with steam nor Origin. When i got BF3 a lot of people were going nuts over the fact you needed to launch a server through your browser but all in all it was a lot smoother than i expected

I have all 3 installed on my PC, Steam is the only one setup to auto start and the only one I really use. Only used Uplay while play Farcry 3 and never used since, even bought my copy of FC3 from steam. The last time I used Origin was to download BF1942 for free :D

Out of Steam, Origin and Uplay the only one I ever have any problems with is Uplay.

Its such an old fashioned platform, the way it patches games is just so old school.

You can run UPlay and Origin from Steam Streaming and it works pretty well. I've got most of my library there with the only 2 games on UPlay and the EA humble bundle non steam games on Origin.
