Greetings everyone,

I am a Psychology PhD student at Nottingham Trent University (Nottingham, United Kingdom) and I wonder if you could give me a hand with my research by taking part in my survey. It is brief and is and about Internet use and habits and has around 10 very short questions, it will not take you more than 4-5 minutes to help me out and at the end of the survey you can enter a draw for a £20 voucher for online shopping.

Please feel free to help me, it is a personal and independent project I am doing.

Here is the survey's address: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TQH39YV

I appreciate your help,

Have you tested it? It won't submit as it says 'This question requires an answer. Please check if you selected 3 options.' I've selected three and it still won't process...

Hello NTU, I was in the Newton Building the other day looking at the Architecture / Design end of year show.

Survey Done

Two problems I've picked up on this survey.

1. The stated hours are a complete guessing game and are therefore arbitrary and unreliable.

2. The last question regarding addiction is not a neutral statement. Agreeing you are addicted is implied as being negative. For example, I selected 'agree' as I wouldn't wish to live without the internet however and use it very regularly, however I am perfectly able to go without should I have to, it would just take some getting used to. It's more habitual than addiction.
