Seems more consistency when the action is busy and lots of stuff flying around - less bullets getting "lost" in that kind of scenario but the underlying "hit reg" doesn't seem much different when I'm running and running with a sniper rifle or other low rate of fire weapon.
 
Good banter and rage tonight, my those TAG guy were a bunch of idiots.

Wow TOMMYRAGE and BONGEH are slobs. Shouldn't be allowed to livestream unless you have brushed your hair at least once this decade.

As for the new patch, I seem to kill & get killed quicker, the bullets feel like they hit harder but doesnt seem that different as far as I can tell. Still better than it was mind.

Hang on DICE have improved the netcode but the feature is by default set to off, and needs to be manually enabled !?!?! That means if I shoot someone and they don't have it enabled - and I do, I won't see any difference?
 
What would be the best setting for the client update thingy? Usually my ping in game is in the 50-70 range, (server dependent). Only tried it on medium so far.
 
Just got the flukiest kill ever in a tank, aiming for a littlebird over A on golmund, fired the shell, the guy bails out before it hits and conveniently enough exits the heli right in the line of my shell for it to slap him right up the face. :D
 
On PC the RSPs are responsible for enabling the high tick rate feature at their discretion.

Now since there is no indicator that any have you could still be playing at 10/30.
 
Update felt weird for me. On more than one occasion I was shot and killed by someone before they existed as far as my screen showed.

In one case I was firing mg4 spam into a doorway, then I die, then this guy appears and starts shooting me.

Another, I'm running up to a corner to peek round, but got shot by someone round the corner (about 10 metres away) before I even got to it as if their game had predicted I was just going to run round the corner.

My average ping on the server was 40, network smoothing 0 and high network update rate.

I might increase the network smoothing a bit, I was using 10 before.
