Exactly my thoughts, but I'm worried it could be a cop out for the insurance company in the event of an incident
Don't bother, why would you? Even if you did tell them they wouldn't replace it in the event of the car being written off.
We get discounted Fords through scheme at work and there's Fiesta ST's everywhere you look. Would seriously consider one if I wasn't so attached to my current Focus ST.At the rate the Mk7 STs or ST styled cars are selling, the second hand market is going to be a buyers paradise in a couple of years!
you would have to be an absolute bumdar to declare that on an insurance policy!
I used to work at Direct Line, technically you are supposed to tell them but upon people telling me stuff like this I used to be sat there thinking "SHUT UP!" but unable to advise this due to every single call being recorded.
So technically yes, but don't bother.
Happy days! The new Fez ST is one of a few new cars I'd like to own in a few years.
I really rate the 1l ecoboost engine too, maybe the missus could have that one!
Speaking from your experience, how much would a minor detail like that change the premium?
