At the rate the Mk7 STs or ST styled cars are selling, the second hand market is going to be a buyers paradise in a couple of years!
We get discounted Fords through scheme at work and there's Fiesta ST's everywhere you look. Would seriously consider one if I wasn't so attached to my current Focus ST.

Definitely prefer the Fiesta over the latest Focus ST though - the 5dr body style really puts me off that one.

I used to work at Direct Line, technically you are supposed to tell them but upon people telling me stuff like this I used to be sat there thinking "SHUT UP!" but unable to advise this due to every single call being recorded.

So technically yes, but don't bother.

Speaking from your experience, how much would a minor detail like that change the premium?

Happy days! The new Fez ST is one of a few new cars I'd like to own in a few years.

I really rate the 1l ecoboost engine too, maybe the missus could have that one!

Exactly. There's a lads version (proper ST) and then loads of woman's versions with ST styling but small engines.

The Fiesta ST is a strong contender for my next car. I'm just waiting for all the 2 year lease deals to end in about 18 months and there will be approved used ST2s filling Ford forecourts up and down the country!

I could never exactly figure out how it was calculated but I've seen it add hefty sums to policies, I specifically remember one guy with a new Range Rover who specified some wing vents from a sport model and it added several hundred to the policy when it was basically just a bit of trim.

Probably didn't help that underwriting made me add it as a "Bonnet Vent" on the system, ended up arguing with them over that one which is why I remember it so well.
