Here's a pic of 2 plants I have grown from seedlings:

I should have planted them further apart when I put them in the ground as their now tangling with each other. Today it was really windy and noticed one leaning on the other.
Upon further investigation I saw the root of the leaning plan come from up the soil! So I've put a gardening tool in-between them and added more soil around the visible root and pressed it down.
Should I dig out the offending plant it put it somewhere else in the garden? I think it happened because the soil I planted it is actually 90% compost, I got carried away thinking more compost = more nutrients for the plant. But now it doesn't have a very sturdy foundation for its height or weight.
Also another one of these had snapped off! I've re dug it into a plant pot hoping it will survive with next to no root. All it's leaves are drooping already
