For the last few years i've been to scandanavia for my holidays, which is great and very relaxing, but, I miss a warm beach and the sea...

So, im just looking to go somewhere for 5 days to a week, but not somewhere that will break the bank.

Pretty much anywhere that

1) Has lovely, clean beaches and a warm sea
2) Friendly + safe local area
3) Plenty to do, but ideally without loads of kids


So what you got GD?

Welcome to GD. Most people don't bother to read posts properly or put themselves in the position of the OP to tailor a response to what the OP is asking, often because they'd rather just tell everyone what cool places they've been to and are not really interested in helping the OP.

Hence why somebody who wants a 5 day beach holiday that won't break the bank is getting stupid suggestions like long-haul flights to the Caribbean. Useful.

The Med is probably a more suitable choice.

Yea med is ideal... Greece seems to be pretty good value for money aswell to be honest.. probbaly because they're broke :D
 
Malta.
Flights are cheap.
Everyone speaks good English.
They drive on the left (most of the time :eek: )
Great beaches and scuba.
Warm as Toast.

How many are going?
 
Croatia (dubrovnik) is nice, I've just been and would cost around 500pp all in. Doesn't have loads of sandy beaches (lots of beaches however!) a warm sea and not too many kids (lots of tourists tho!)
