Hi

I don't think you need huge amounts of Ram for video recording, although someone correct me if i'm wrong :)

Here is a starter. I haven't included the operating system so you might need to add that.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Powercolor Radeon R9 280X TurboDUO 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £229.99
1 x Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM £179.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £109.99
1 x BitFenix Ronin Tower Case - Black £69.95
1 x Samsung 120GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE120BW) £67.99
1 x Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-17100C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black/Red (HX21C11BRK2/8-OC) £61.99
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £55.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £43.99
1 x Raijintek Themis Direct Contact CPU Cooler £19.99
1 x Pioneer 24x Internal DVR-221LBK DVD Rewriter - OEM £13.49
Total : £868.37 (includes shipping : £12.50).

Obviously you could change things around if you want a better gpu or cpu.

If you want to spend the whole budget then you could go i7 4790K and R9 290, although if you need the OS as well you would be a few quid over.

If you feel you want 16GB Ram then swap the above for the 2 x 8GB kit.

thanks for the reply not had much experience with radeon cards always been nvidia any reason why you suggest the 280x, and i have been reading that for recording the amd 8 cores would do a better job not sure what to do now lol

how do you do the basket thing lol and do them cases have dust filters as i have quite a few pet. also is 550w enough power
The 230T in my spec and the 200R in dacads spec both have filtered front intake and PSU intakes :) Whether or not you want to grab a filter for the top intake/exhaust is up to you. The 550W PSU in both of our specs should power anything up to an R9 290 so long as it isn't heavily OC'd.
