I have purchased a cheap Chinese 9" angle grinder to cut some block paving (I wont need it after this project so will sell it on cheap).
Having a really hard time buying an appropriate masonry wheel. Seems 9" is not that common in the US so there are much less choices of wheels, and many are European imports. I can' just go to the box stores and try one out ofr size, I have to order online. Amazon lists loads but the descriptions often dont match the picture which doesn't match what is actually shipped
The angle grinder is for the US market and claims to use 5/8" wheels. 5/8"-11 seems to be the standard hole size in the US. But a lot of wheels are advertised at 7/8" which I think are european.
Trying to research what the sizes really mean.
I see this wheel:
http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-DB963-P..._sbs_hi_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1Q3YGY8VKPVR5SMP08S0
the picture shows both a 5/8th inch and a 7/8inch measurement. But the description is clearly stating 7/8th inch.
No where online really seems to detail these specifications.
I see this grinder:
https://www.forneyind.com/store/det...12_angle_grinder_with_58-11_spindle_78_arbor/
advertised a 5/8"-11 spindle with a 7/8th inch arbor? Is the spindle size and arbor size different measurements? Will the Bosch wheel linked above likely fit my grinder that says 5/8th"-11 arbor?

Please help with this confusion!

The "standard" 5/8"-11 spindles use 7/8" wheels
