Hello guys.

I don't know if I am allowed to post this so please bare with me.

I purchased a 12 month code from an online retailer last night, they emailed me over an image of a scratched off Xbox Live code only it was missing one of the digits.

I tried a few combinations for the missing letter or number but in the end emailed the company who have sent me over a new code, which I have used and it worked. Happy dayz.

Now, I've still got the old code here, missing 1 digit - I'd like to post it up for someone here to use (if they guess the missing number). Am I 'allowed' to post up an image of the code?

Can a moderator give me a heads up and if it's okay I'll pop it on this post?

Hey Rob - I mainly just lurk here (5 posts!) so I wasn't aware of the trust setting - I've switched it on (I think).

Guys, is it going to cause me issues posting the code!?
 
It'll be a big scramble.

Its not really missing 1 digit off the end, its missing 1 digit somewhere....I can't imagine what is the odds of guessing it right would be !
 
Hi Ray - You can see the placement of the missing digit, each of the other blocks of characters is a a grouping of 5 - The missing one has 4 and even shows a little of the 'missing' character. I did have a few goes at guessing the number or letter myself, but had no luck and decided to email the company as opposed to spending the evening guessing.

I read the forums a lot and I'd like to contribute so ... This is my contribution (once I get the go ahead!)

Hi Rob, if I can't get the 'OK' to post publicly, I'll PM you the code. I'd like to make it available to the general population of the board ideally, however if this isn't possible as you are the first to ask I'll send it your way should the moderators prefer me not to post it here.
