hmm these are £380 new unlocked on ebay daily deals now

Just a heads up, these particular ones are Korean/Asian imports - hence the G900H code instead of European G900F. Major difference is the Korean ones DO NOT HAVE 4g but do instead have the Octo Core processor.

You would need to make sure you know which one you want.

The S801 is better than the octo-poop.

Got mine coming on Wednesday, hopefully. Bagged a copper gold one for just over £350. How hideous is the gold in real life? May need to get a new back cover for it pretty much instantaneously!

EDIT: It;s currently locked to o2 so must be the European one, right?

Got mine from 02, £25 pm for the handset 0% APR over 24 months in the 02 refresh plan £15.99 for 5GB of 4G data and unlimited calls/texts. Use an open code for 30% off tarrif cost. No upfront cost. £600 total credit for the phone, usually pay off in 5 months so I only pay £15.99 and can upgrade early.

Have an LG G2 too and prefer the LG, bit dissapointed tbf, but overall an excellent package, the camera is superb.

So you're paying £41/month for 5gb data and unlm calls/texts.

Three has unlm everything for £39/month plus £20 upfront, 24months. Still cheaper than the O2 deal.

Where I live Three is brilliant have a PAG unlimited sim and can acheive 30Mbps DATA none 4G.

However I work all over the country and the amount of drop outs and no signal areas is huge, hence choosing o2, the little extra is worth the network coverage and the fact the phone and sim are different contracts so I can pay the phone off asap and just leave the sim contract running, much better than Three. Cant knock it for PAG but never a contract sim.

^Looking very good. This is what the S5 should've been in the first place.^
I hope Samsung make it available in the UK and the price isn't too expensive I'd be seriously tempted.

The Prime is looking a lot better. If they can produce a top quality phone I think that'll be the end of HTC, and you can't say they don't deserve it for persisting with the 'Ultrapixel' camera. :(

Very true, I'm hearing the S5 is tanking in retail actually.

All being relative of course, selling like crazy if you were HTC or Sony but well below their expectations.

I think I've seen 2 or 3 in the wild, that said obviously it barely looks any different to the S4 but even so...

Just ordered my S5. Can I charge it wirelessly with one of those pads? What are the best options?

Your need to get one of the official backs or one of the 3rd party ones (Like I have). I also have the official Samsung charging pad and its a bit small for my liking and means you have to basically balance the phone on it.

Ive ordered some 3rd party ones (3 for the price of the Samsung one) and will see how good they are.

Only issue is the phone gets rather warm when wirelessly charging

Prime looks a little better than the standard s5 with that horrible back. The prime should have been the standard s5.

It's leaving me confused about what phone to get though!

IF the prime does arrive, it'll likely be the one I go for, but there's no guarantee it'll ever actually be sold over here. There's been enough leaks that I think we're all fairly confident it will exist in some form or another, it's just a case of where/when it actually does appear.
